What is one thing that you wished you could do as a child, and probably still wish you could do? I know i wanted to be able to fly with birds. Didn't you? What does this have to do with book, you say? Well, it has a whole bunch. We may wish to fly, but having this ability is a living nightmare for six kids; Max, Fang, Iggy, Nudge, the Gasman (or Gazzy), and Angel. When they were babies, they were genetically modified to be 98% human and 2% bird. Where they were created is full of mad scientists, called "whitecoats" who are using another genetically modified creature called Erasers to capture them. Erasers are part human and part wolf. You can Join these six kids as they travel around the world, with Max at the head, trying to save the world, in the "Maximum Ride series" by James Patterson.
